I have been working as a Cultural Tour Guide of Bhutan for the last 4 years. My passion for the job, love for my beautiful country and its majestic landscape had driven me much deeper. Now I not only have the better understanding of my country's unique culture, intact age old traditions and the way of Bhutanese life, I am a certified Photography Tour Guide, specialized also in Bird Watching and Nature tour guide.

My core principle is respecting and supporting in the growth of my organization, safety of my guests and to be a cheerful travel companion as I take my guest around Bhutan the country I consider very sacred and precious.

Bhutan Swallowtail was founded on an auspicious day of October 2011 as a partnership firm by Sonam Dendup and Tashi Wangmo. Ever since, it has been one of the fastest growing travel agents in the kingdom in terms of delivering quality services and meeting Corporate Social Responsibilities.

As a travel company who engage with various stakeholders in tourism, namely consumers, tour guides, travel agencies, hotels, transport companies, restaurants, and attractions, Bhutan Swallowtail understands our key role and influence in the sustainability development of tourism. Therefore, we are committed to promoting sustainability. We aim to follow, implement and promote good sustainability practices to maximize positive impacts and minimize negative impacts on tourism of our operations and to influence our clients and partners to do the same.

To make positive impact in my field of activity leading to organization growth by creative application based convictions and professional divinity by putting my all efforts in the work assigned to me in an organization where I can grow along with the organization and also to build career in a growing organization, where I can get the opportunities to prove my abilities by accepting challenges, fulfilling the organization goal and climb the career ladder through continuous learning and commitment.

Environment, trash, plastics and sustainable tourism have always been the cornerstone of Bhutan Swallowtail Travels as it grows and benefits from the tourism policy of “High Value Low Impact”.
